Wakui is a male player on the boys team mentioned in episode 3 during the game against the girls. He is set to mark Maho after she scores a basket. He is Number 8.

There has been confusion about his name. He has been named Mark Misao because it was thought that during the boys vs. girls game, Coach Ogasawara called him that because that is what appeared in the subtitles.
But in actuality, Ogasawara actually shouted "Mark Misawa!" at him, which means he assigned Wakui to guard Maho.
Short cameo appearances in Episodes 14 and 18 confirmed that this boy is in fact named Wakui.
