Plot[]

Tomoka and her friends have another match with Suzuridani in the final match of the tournament, and the rivalry between them increase upon learning that Rena is one of the opposing team's players.

Trivia[]

  • Keishin extended their lead to as many as 9 points until settling to a 21-14 halftime lead after an alley-oop play between Aya and Rena which amazed the crowd with such a high level play being performed by elementary school girls.
  • Suzuridani decided to play their twin towers of Kumi and Aya in the second half to counter Keishin's high speed offense. Hinata ends up being matched against Kumi, who has a massive size advantage over her, allowing her to shoot over Hinata with mid-range jump shots. Keishin eventually recovered when Maho was switched out for Kagetsu due to the former spraining her ankle in her attempt to score over Rena, allowing Keishin to play their own twin towers throughout the rest of the game. Suzuridani still managed to take the lead from Keishin in the third quarter, 31-29, on a buzzer-beating layup from Miyu.
  • The entire 5th grade team managed to hold Rena to 4 points and draw 3 personal fouls from her in the second quarter. Maho managed to hold Rena scoreless the entire third quarter and drew her fourth personal foul all by herself until her ankle injury.
  • After a back-and-forth affair in the fourth quarter, Keishin managed to tie Suzuridani at 39-all, taking them to overtime, on a buzzer-beating jump shot by Saki, who missed the exact same shot during their previous match at the training camp.
